We came by it naturally, to be sure, before Trisha and I met we were separately living in a four bedroom and three bedroom house, respectively. Then we moved together into a two bedroom house with a garage and then we moved three more times. So we've done quite a bit of downsizing already. But now we're in a two-bedroom apartment (no garage, although we do have more closet space than I had dared to hope for). We still have a washer and dryer that we bought together and a refrigerator from her old place, which are all crammed in there with the bins in the living room. Here's what it looked like the day we moved it all in:

Doing this is going to involve removing all the bins from the living room. Then moving most of the boxes and junk back to the window. Plug in the WiFi and call Comcast. Finally, put all the bins back.
Actually, I managed to do it by just clearing a path of boxes and organizing some of the bigger stuff (including getting the washer and dryer pushed all the way back into the corner).
While all of the bins are out of the apartment, I can move everything off of the table and the table will be clear. Where does it go after that?
With the room I cleared getting to the cable outlet, we were able to clear most of the stuff off the table and into some bins I had unpacked and into the curio cabinet. This one was so important now that we're homeschooling
This one is the easiest, I think, because not much got moved into here in the first place.
Ha! Well, I finally got this one finished today. It was not as easy as I had expected, and it's not quite right, but we have full use of the kitchen again. At some point, I'd like to get the second table (yes second table) set up in there, but we haven't found the screws for it yet.
Goal 4 - Clear the bedrooms
Now that the dining room, bathroom and kitchen are in better shape, bedrooms are next. We need to get the four remaining boxes out of our room and the stack of bins out of the little one's room. I really do intend to take everything out of the living room and put it all back, because things just aren't organized enough out there to get anything else into it. I'd really like to have nice liveable bedrooms even if the living room isn't in great shape. (Can you tell we don't have a lot of visitors?)
Goal 5 - Sort all the cardboard boxes
I have a confession to make: I'm really particular about packing materials, and I absolutely hate cardboard boxes. We inevitably end up using them to round things up at the end of every move. But they don't hold up well, you can't reliably stack them. And well honestly, they don't match! So the first thing that's likely to get unpacked and sorted is the cardboard boxes of stuff (most of which we haven't seen since we lived in Wayne).
This has honestly been a goal for a while and one that we've worked on every time we've moved (except this last one). If we want to get on the road full time, it's going to start with getting rid of the mountain of stuff. Most of which I'd hazard we don't really want anyway.
